Dori Rose Levit was born in May 1992 in Sugar Land, TX. She graduated with a BA in Acting and Minor in Psychology from Emerson College in Boston, MA. She currently lives and works in the NYC area, and has been acting since she was 5 years old. In addition to acting, Dori has also worked with people with disabilities for over 10 years, and has directed people with IDD in various productions. She most recently produced and directed the festival of plays 'Love: Revamped', starring actors with and without disabilities. She currently studies at John DeSotelle Studio's 2 year program, training in Meisner, Clowning, On-Camera and Williamson Technique. A few recent acting credits include: Off-Broadway 'Antigone' as Antigone, Chrissie in Joshua Crone's 'Squatters', the role of Make-Believe Mary in a show she co-directed called 'Inheritance', and the roles of Carolyn Bryant/Sidney Carlton in Shades of Truth Theatre's production of 'Whistle in Mississippi: The Lynching of Emmett Till'. She can next be seen at Theatre For The New City September 16- October 6th in Eve Lederman's 'To Life' directed by Frank Calo.
