Dori Rose Levit was born in Sugar Land, TX and is now a Meisner trained actress local to NYC, Houston, and Nashville! She graduated with a BA in Acting and Minor in Psychology from Emerson College. She spent 4 years doing Meisner training at the John DeSotelle Studio in NYC. She also has a Masters in Psychology from Harvard Extension, and is working on her Drama Therapy degree. Considering her psychology background, she specializes in characters with deep emotional challenges, but also is extremely versatile with regard to age and character! She was nominated for Best Actress at the Long Island Film Festival for the drama short film 'Flowers', and at The North Film Festival for the comedy 'The Inconvenience'. She is currently working on a one-woman show she wrote and is acting in called "Mothers & Daughters". The debut for this show will be in Sugar Land, TX, where Dori's mother resides.
